“ Edited for clarity. We had an enjoyable meal at Le Poulbot. We were a bit rushed with a time limit from our tour manager who only gave us 45 minutes for a dinner. I had tried to make a reservation while walking to the restaurant, but we arrived before I could finish the form. The manager, while not pleased that I hadnt finished making the reservation, he graciously sat us anyway. The Onion soup was excellent and perfect for a chilly evening. The desserts also were great, delicious comfort food. The staff were attentive and did everything they could to accommodate our schedule even on a busy evening. Do yourself and them a favor by making a reservation here. You wont be disappointed. ”

“ Having come to Paris for the past 20 years, I have never been blown away by a meal as I have had here. It was simply heavenly! So the only negative, is the location is quite a trek up a hill, but you be happy to know its worth it. Id had a fish with a celery sauce and my friend had the steak and potatoes with a foie gras sauce. Followed with the French toast and cream dessert. Dont let these simple names think these dishes are simple, its the farthest thing from that. Its dimly the best dishes Ive had in Paris in 20 years. Go there! Its a must. ”
